Alignable Q&A Forum Puts Your Answers Front & Center with “My Answers Page”

We have just launched another great new feature, “My Answers Page,” which should be especially appealing to our Members who frequent the Q&A Forum, regularly posting answers to a variety of questions. That’s because all answers will be showcased in an entirely new way – on their own pages, highlighting the authors who offered creative solutions or good advice.

And when you share My Answers Page via email or social media, those who see it will be able to join the conversation. They can post their own comments and replies to the question and your answer, fostering a new, dedicated conversation.

This special, personalized page was created because answers to Forum questions are seen as just as important, or perhaps, even more important, than many of the questions. The answers often offer expert solutions or comforting guidance in an understanding, trusted environment -- one Member assists another with advice that only other knowledgeable small business owners can provide.

Answers also give our Members an easy way to get involved with other Members and to share their experience and expertise in a welcoming way. There’s no “hard sell,” which most small business owners really appreciate. When Members like someone’s answer, they can forge a connection with that person. And sometimes those connections -- and some of the answers themselves -- have led to mutually rewarding business relationships.

In fact, many of the most successful network Members call the Forum their “secret weapon” for success on Alignable, as they’ve already used their answers to form new relationships while helping a fellow Member. Now with the new My Answers Page, it’s easier than ever to invite more visitors to see your answers, which means you can expedite the process of building new relationships, helping other members, and finding new prospects.

So how do you access your personalized My Answers Page? It’s easy. If you’ve answered a question in the Forum, go to that question and click on the link that shows the date of the answer. (In the example below, “Answered Wednesday, March 29, 2017” would be the link to click).

Alternately, you can go to the Answers listed in your Profile, click on one of those and go to an Answers Page.  

If you haven’t ever answered a Forum question, no worries! Go to the Forum and search some of the questions that you’d like to answer. After posting your thoughts, then go to your Profile, click on the question, and go to your first My Answers Page.

At that point, go ahead and start sharing your answer inside the Alignable network or externally and see what types of reactions you get. Ultimately, this new feature will elevate your networking activity to an entirely new level based on sharing your expertise in a new and innovative way.
